Mindfulness is a mind-body approach to life that helps people relate effectively to their experiences. It involves paying attention to thoughts, feelings and body sensations in a way that can increase your awareness, help you manage difficult experiences, and create space for wise choices.

In your Mindfulness sessions you will cover the following:

  • Introduction to Mindfulness and Meditation
  • Talking about anxiety
  • Staying at peace/learning to be present
  • Working with thoughts and emotions
  • Making connections
  • Looking after yourself

Dare to be happier

The course looks at what happiness is – and isn’t. You will learn how to cultivate happiness by using key happiness habits, understand why what you think, feel and do really matters, learn how to handle your inner critic, develop resilience and – in understanding how vital self-compassion is – set better boundaries, access better stories about your life and start taking action to move your life forward.

In your Dare to be Happier sessions you will cover the following:

  • The advantages and disadvantages of change
  • The power of optimism and gratitude
  • How to set good boundaries that honour your values
  • Letting go to move forward

Empowering by example

Empowering By Example is a unique, tried and tested approach, using lived experience as its greatest asset. Gerry Murphy has over 22 years recovery experience and over 20 years’ experience of working hands on with people who struggle with life. This course is structured as group sessions led by Gerry, covering six topics in total over the course such as relationships, habitual thoughts, anger and fear.

Each week the group will develop a greater awareness and understanding of the topics covered, which will allow them to take the steps needed to reduce their emotional pain.

At the end of the course participants should leave with a clearer understanding of their pain and feel closer to finding inner peace, acceptance and happiness.

In your Empowering by Example sessions you will cover the following:

    • FEAR the root cause of our problems
