What is PC?

Person Centred counselling is an effective and popular treatment for a variety of issues such as:

What is CBT?

Cognitive-behaviour therapy can assist with:

  • Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD)

  • Low Self Esteem
What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an evidence‐based psychological therapy that helps the brain process distressing experiences.

  • Unprocessed memories can stay “stuck” and affect current thoughts and reactions
  • EMDR helps these memories become less distressing and more integrated

Benefits of EMDR
Reduces emotional distress from past experiences

  • Helps shift unhelpful self‑beliefs
  • Doesn’t require going into lots of verbal detail
  • Often feels less overwhelming than traditional talk therapy
  • Supports long‑term emotional healing and resilience

Important to Know
EMDR is always delivered at a pace that feels manageable for you. Preparation and safety are key part of the process, and you remain in control throughout therapy. If you have any questions or would like to know whether EMDR might be right for you, please feel free to ask.
